1. Who we are

Videoyn is operated by Ryan Moffat, based in the United Kingdom. For data protection questions contact hello@videoyn.com.

2. What we collect

Account data: email address (used for magic-link auth), account creation timestamp, plan tier.

Usage data: the tool prompts you submit, the images you upload as source frames, the resulting video renders, timestamps, and generation status.

Billing data: when you subscribe, Stripe handles your card details — we never see them. We store your Stripe customer ID, subscription ID, plan, and subscription status.

Technical data:minimal server logs (request timestamps, HTTP status codes) for debugging and abuse prevention. We don't run analytics or tracking cookies.

3. How we use it

To provide the service: authenticate you, render your videos, deduct credits, and bill your subscription. Legal basis: contract performance.

To prevent abuse and comply with the law: flag prohibited content, respond to legal requests. Legal basis: legitimate interest.

4. What we don't do

We do not train AI models on your uploads or prompts. Your inputs are used once to produce your output, and then stored only in your private render history. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing.

5. Where your data lives

Auth & database: Supabase (EU region).

Render storage: Supabase Storage (EU region).

GPU rendering:RunPod. Inputs and outputs pass through RunPod's infrastructure during rendering; we remove source images from the pod disk after a generation completes.

Billing: Stripe (US, Ireland, UK — see stripe.com/privacy).

6. How long we keep it

Renders and prompts: as long as your account is active, plus up to 90 days after deletion. Billing records: 7 years (UK tax requirement). Server logs: 30 days.

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and object to or restrict its processing. Email hello@videoyn.comand we'll respond within 30 days.

You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you believe we have mishandled your data.

8. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication only (the Supabase session cookie). No advertising cookies, no tracking. Stripe may set its own cookies during checkout — see their privacy policy.

9. Changes

Changes to this policy will be emailed to account holders when they affect how we handle existing data.
